What is the Season / Schedule?
Spring/Summer: February 1st – July 31st
Fall/Winter: August 1st to January 31st
Is there any paperwork involved in the consigment process?
Every consignor is asked to fill out a Consignment Contract and provide photo I.D. in order to open an account with us.
Based on the current market value, the initial price will be determined by Posh Couture.
We research every piece before we list it to determine the going rate for the item including the condition and age of the garment.
We generally set pricing at about 50% of the original retail price, and items with tags attached or from the current season will be set at a higher price.
Handbags and jewelry are also often set at a higher price-generally 50-70% of the original retail price.
Merchandise is reduced every 30 days by approximately 20%.
Posh Couture will email a price list to the consignor within 10 business days of receiving the items.
Until pricing is accepted and confirmed by the consignor, the items will not be available for sale.
How Long Does a Consigment Contact Last?
Items are displayed in the store for 120 days.
It is consignor's responsibility to reclaim any unsold items.
WE DO NOT CONTACT YOU. All item(s) not collected within two weeks from the 120 day termination date will be donated or become the property of Posh Couture unless notified in advance.
The Consignor must give a minimum notice of 2 business days prior to pick up any terminated items.
How Is Authenticity Determined?
Authenticity is determined by a third party authentication company. All of our items undergo a strict and thorough authentication process. Our experts take the time to thoroughly inspect each item for authenticity and only authentic items will be found at Posh Couture
All sales are accumulated until the end of each month. All payments owed to the Consignor will be issued monthly after the 15th for the previous month’s sales.
Can I Return / Exchange an item I've purchased?
Due to the limited nature of these items, all items sold at our store are FINAL SALE and NON-REFUNDABLE
